About Worthington Ohio
Worthington Ohio is located 12 miles directly to the north of downtown Columbus. Located along High Street, Worthington was founded in 1803 and is one of Ohio’s first cities. The charming New England-inspired streetscapes house boutiques, pubs, ice cream parlors, and more. At the heart of Worthington are the community greens, surrounded by historic churches and homes. These greens host a variety of community events throughout the year. The Olentangy River, a state scenic river, runs through Worthington to the west. The meandering river is beautiful in any season but is especially picturesque in the fall. Worthington is a nature-friendly community with numerous parks, bike trails, and walking paths.
Worthington’s central location on Columbus’ outerbelt makes it a quick and direct commute to downtown Columbus or other Columbus suburbs such as Dublin, Powell, Westerville, Gahanna, and New Albany. Worthington is a 20-minute drive to the Port Columbus International Airport.
