About Hebron Ohio

Calling itself “Hebron—Historic Crossroads of Ohio”, this village is situated on Route 40, the “Old National Trail” highway. With a rich history dating back to the Ohio Canal days, Hebron has today attracted several large businesses and is a growing, thriving community. Hebron is also located on the Northern bounds of the Buckeye Lake Region. The lake itself is bordered by 3 counties (Licking, Fairfield and Perry) and was created in its present form by the building of the Ohio Canal around 1825. The lake became Ohio’s first state park and today offers a host of recreational activities including boating, fishing, sailing, water skiing, swimming, picnicking, ice fishing, snowmobiling, ice boating, shopping, hiking and camping.
