About Blacklick Ohio

Blacklick Ohio is located 15 minutes to the east of Columbus. Blacklick is named for the meandering Blacklick Creek that flows through the area. Blacklick began as a railroad station, then developed into a small village and in the last decade has grown to include newer shopping centers, restaurants, and numerous housing developments. Commuters enjoy the direct commute to downtown Columbus as Blacklick is intersected by one of Columbus’ main routes, Route 16, also known as Broad Street.
