What is the Multiple Listing Service (MLS)?
The Multiple Listing Service is perhaps the most important tool in the search for finding the right home for you. The MLS is a marketing database set up by a group of cooperating real estate brokers/realtors. Its purpose is to provide accurate and structured data about properties for sale. The Columbus Board of Realtors’ MLS consists of homes in all of Central Ohio including homes in more than 9 counties around the Columbus area.
